Google unveils new reverse image feature, no more begging for sauce on 4chan!

On top of making the new voice search feature public where you can search by speaking into your mic, Google has come out with a real cool new feature I've been dying to see, reverse image search. What is that? It's exactly what it means, instead of looking for images related to text input searches i.e. typing "cat" in search bar and getting back pictures of cats, you can now upload or copy the url of a specific picture and possibly find out more info on where it originated or if it's available in other sizes. An amazing site called TinEye has already pioneered this magnificent concept. I've been using them for a good while now and have kept their plugin for Chrome quite handy.

Any image you see that piques your interest you just right-click and search for it. While TinEye is just amazing, since it's a growing database lots of stuff will turn up null. This is why I always wished Google would nab these bright folks tech and implement it in their own image search. Just the thought, a most convenient tool combined with the most massive image database on the net most likely. There would be no massive pair of bewbies that would go unsourced ever again mwahaha eat that /r !! Erm sorry about that, but it turns out Google was already cooking up their own take on this idea.

The image tool works superbly, I've already found sources to some pretty obscure art that was just sitting around on my comp among loads of other "stuff".

Here's a link to the Search By Image(what google calls this) plugin for Chrome that like the TinEye plugin, will add "search google with this image" option to the context menu when you right-click a picture in chrome, god I love it!
